Sideline Enforcement

Officials will be enforcing sideline regulations this season.  All non-players, spectators, chain crew members, photographers, etc. will be required to stay behind the 2-yard restraining line.  Three coaches will be allowed in the coaching box between the 25-yard lines.  Members log into the Members area and see the letters sent to ADs, coaches and the Section.

2008 Junior High Schedules Available Now

The 2008 schedules are available on the Section XI website. 

As in past seasons, schedules will only be available on the Section XI website.  You must print the schedule, select games you will be accepting, sign the form and mail or FAX to the Section.

THIS MUST BE DONE IMMEDIATELY.

 

Officials Needed

Again this season Stony Brook University has requested officials from the Association to handle sideline duties (chains, balls, etc.).Fee is $75 and will be paid 2-3 weeks after the game.

The following are games that need coverage:

August 22 - 3pm

August 30 - 6 pm

September 6 - 3 pm

September 26 - 7 pm

October 18 - 3 pm

November 1 - 3 pm

November 15 - 3:30 pm

You need to be at the stadium one hour before game time.

Five-Man Mechanics Presentation Available

For those who may have missed the May 21 5-man mechanics presentation or you simply want to review it, the presentation is available on-line.  Click on this link.  You must have a password.  Do not have a password send e-mail to ed.hickland@suffolk-football.org with subject "Password".

 

 

REFEREE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Varsity officials who work JV games with members of the Referee Development Program are required to complete the evaluation form.  It is preferred that the on-line form be used.  It can be located at Referee Development Form.   If you do not have a computer or choose to submit the form by mail the form is located at Referee Development Paper Form.  Complete this form and mail to address located on page 2 of the form.

USERNAME/PASSWORD FOR "MEMBERS" AND "REFEREES" AREA.

All members who have previously signed up for e-mail should be able to logon to the "Members" area using the username and password provided in the e-mail you received.  Referees can now use the same username/password to logon to the "Referees" area. 

If you applied and have not received a username/password or not sent in a request.   Send it via e-mail to ed.hickland@suffolk-football.org.  Once the usernames and passwords are assigned you will be notified via e-mail.
